Deadline:

The ZSL Animal Photography Prize is back for 2016. Wildlife photographers from around the world are invited to put forward and showcase their best wildlife photographs.

Revelling in the beauty of wildlife from around the world, from the smallest insects to largest mammals, the ZSL Animal Photography Prize celebrates the outstanding diversity of the Animal Kingdom.

The top images will be chosen by a panel of judges, including ZSL Honorary Conservation Fellow and television presenter Kate Humble; renowned ornithologist Bill Oddie; and best-selling author, explorer and photographer Levison Wood.

With new categories for 2016 including Catch me if you can, At Home in their Habitat and Urban City Life, the competition will be fierce as ever.
Each entrant may submit a maximum of six (6) images into the competition.

No more than one (1) image may be entered into a single category.
Images submitted should be innovative and creative, and be relevant to the category entered.
Black and white images are allowed in any category.
Digitally enhanced/manipulated images will be accepted in all categories, as long as a full-description of the edits can be provided within the supporting questionnaire send to photographers’ should their image be successful.
Entries must be digital files.
For initial entry, all images must be submitted as JPEGs, saved at a maximum of 5MB via the ZSL website.
Entrants must also be able to supply a high resolution file, suitable for printing in all media and for inclusion in ZSL’s Animal Photography Prize exhibition, should their image be successful. The high resolution file should match the colour and cropping of the JPEG submitted at entry. This should be between 10MB – 20MB. This file can be submitted via file sharing programmes such as Dropbox when requested.
Entrants must be able to supply the RAW file, original JPEG, or original transparency or negative for any image short-listed for the final round of judging upon request.
