International Art Competitions - art contest for artists

The comix competition Nouveau talent BDFIL 2017 is open to anyone over the age of 15 domiciled in Switzerland or abroad and whose work has never been published in the form of an album or regularly in a large-circulation newspaper or magazine. Participants whose work is being published at the time of the award ceremony (Thursday 14th September 2017) will be disqualified. Each participant may enter one project only. As the competition aims to encourage and recompense complete artists, collective entries will not be accepted. Winners of previous competitions, with the exception of ‘special mentions’, are not allowed to re-enter.

This year's theme is THE WAVE.

You may submit a complete comic story, on one (1) board, with or without text.

The JIA Illustration Award is an annual contest organised by Japan Illustrators' Association.

You may submit a maximum of 5 illustrations. There are no themes. All images must be in JPEG format.

All entries must be the original work of the entrant.

The contest is open to illustrators from all over the world.

We do not ask it the genres such as a freehand drawing, CG, a solid.

CIWEM’s Environmental Photographer of the Year aims to promote and reward excellence in international environmental photography, and to enhance the understanding of the causes, consequences and solutions to climate change and social inequality. Before entering, please read the Rules and Guidelines and Digital Specifications & Adjustment Guidelines carefully as all entrants have to acknowledge acceptance of them during the online registration process.

Competition is open to anyone.

All photographs entered must have been completed since 1 January 2016.

Each entrant may enter up to 10 photographs.

At the initial stage, all still photographs must be submitted as JPEGs, saved at a high quality level with a maximum file size of 0.5MB.
