• Art workshops with international artists will be held.
• “Symposium Exhibition” will be held on the last day to showcase the artworks created,

• Every artist will create 2 paintings, which will be kept in Blue Rhino’s Collection.

If accepted, you may proceed with payment to confirm participation.

Payment can be done in 2 parts: 200€ by 1 Feb, and the balance by 15 Feb 2019.

Open call for visual and audiovisual artists.

 Full project happens in during March - June or October - December of 2019 and has to fullfill the duration of 3 to 6 weeks time.

Share Festival, the Italian exhibition of contemporary tech art and science, with the Artistic Direction of Bruce Sterling announces the opening of the call.
The theme of the Share Prize XII edition is: GHOSTS

Our international Jury will select six candidates for the award, who will be invited to take part in the exhibition, which will take place in Turin in May 2019.


The competition is dedicated to artists that use contemporary tech society, in all its shapes and forms,
and in combination with analogue technologies and other materials, as a language for creative
expression. The competition is open to both Italian and foreign artists. Each artist, or artist collective,
can enter a maximum of three works. Artists that are part of collectives may choose to enter the
competition individually, with a maximum of three works.

12-day international artist residency program held in Prince Edward County (Ontario, Canada) and led by Claire M. Tallarico and Tonia Di Risio.

Alchemy is an artist led residency devoted to exploring the synergy between artistic practice and the growing, cooking and sharing of locally cultivated food in a community setting. Artists focus on their own artistic practices while sharing ideas, expertise and conversation in salon style communal dinners.

ALCHEMY 2019 is limited to 14 participants.


Fees: 

$1275 plus HST for single room accomodation and $1150 plus HST for shared living quarters. Fees are in Canadian dollars.

This fee plus HST  includes accommodation, several shared dinners, garden fresh produce, work and studio space, artist talks and an afternoon sharing of work in progress with visitors and guests at the end of the program.  In addition, residents typically contribute up to $100  (on average)  to food costs during the Residency.

The Museum of Jewish Montreal is currently accepting proposals for outdoor murals. The mural is to be completed in early June 2019, during MURAL Festival. Artists of all mediums are invited to propose a mural concept for consideration. Applications from individual artists, groups or collectives will be considered

Our 2018-2019 art programming series Movement & Migrations addresses local and global mobilities – whether physical, spiritual, ideological, or emotional – and exemplifies our model for a museum that explores the intersections of contemporary art, heritage, and community building. Works that bear a strong demonstrable connection to the Movement & Migrations theme, our Museum’s mandate and/or celebrate women (especially those from Montreal’s Jewish community) are of particular interest. We will accept other proposals as well. We also encourage and support collaborations between artists and community partners in order to foster closer connections between the greater Montreal public and its diverse Jewish cultures.

Materials will be supplied by the Museum, however Artists are responsible for any materials beyond the stipulated budget. CARFAC/RAAV exhibition fees for the creation of a work in public apply to artist compensation.

The Museum of Jewish Montreal invites artists and collectives to submit their proposed exhibition projects for the Museum’s 2019-2020 exhibition series inside/out

The 2019/2020 arts programming theme at the Museum of Jewish Montreal broadly takes as its starting point discussions of what exists or is generated “inside,” that which is associated with or exists “outside,” and/or breaching the binary of these two concepts to turn them “inside out.” Rather than limiting, this thematic basis seeks to enable the artistic exploration of varied concepts, from those anchored in the canon of art history (such as the sacred and profane, the pastoral and the industrial, internal reflection and transgressive gaze, etc.) to newer questions in research-creation and museum studies (such as investigating where digital art exists, the space between the museum and other spheres, environmental concerns, identity narratives, etc.).

Art New England, in celebration of its 40th Anniversary and in collaboration with Artrepreneur, announces an Open Call for an Illustrator/Artist-in-Residence.

72 Hour Urban Action is the world's first real-time architectural competition where international teams design, build, sleep and party together to generate public interventions in a limited space within a short time and on a tight budget.

It will take place in May 2-5 2019 and will challenge local residents and international participants to collaboratively create public spaces in the district.

Each participating team will have 12 participants, coming from Germany and the rest of the world. All teams are composed by the festival organisers.
