PLURAL+ Video Festival

Deadline:
29.05.2016

The PLURAL+ Video Festival is an empowering tool for young people to speak out about what they think of migration, diversity and social inclusion, using their own views and voices. The PLURAL+ Video Festival gives youth a platform to say what they think and to make themselves heard by people from all over the world.

The PLURAL+ Video Festival is for youth. Anyone can enter the Video Festival as long as they are maximum of 25 years old at the time of production of the video.

Your video should be about migration, diversity and social inclusion – three things that are very important in our globalizing world. The PLURAL+ Video Festival wants you to tell us what you think about things like migrant integration, inclusiveness, identity, diversity, human rights and social unity.

Videos must be between 1 and 5 minutes long, including title and end credits. Any submissions falling outside of this time restraint will not be considered.

Prizes:

The main goal of the PLURAL+ Video Festival is to give exposure and recognition to winning young filmmakers. If you win an award at PLURAL+, your work will be seen at an international level as the PLURAL+ Video Festival shows your video on the internet, broadcasts, and provides screening opportunities around the world. This way, your message goes global!

Each of the 3 winners of the PLURAL+ JURY AWARD will receive a USA $1,000 cash award; in addition, one representative of the winning video will be invited (all travel expenses paid) to participate at the PLURAL+ 2016 Awards Ceremony in the Fall of 2016 in New York.. Other awards and prizes might include equipment and professional opportunities.
