Open call for performers

KIPAF 2020 invites interest and participation in the promise of exploring through creative expressions that which the myth could not say aloud--the performative lives of tracing, trace-passing--the acts of leaving and carrying threads and their traces. We invite applications to this end, expressing how this theme interests the applicants and what they see themselves doing in relation to the theme during the festival from 23rd to 26th January 2020.

CURATED SECTION

This section invites a set of proposals that KIPAF would consider as the core representative of the festival, taking into account the extent of resonance of the proposals with the KIPAF-20 concept note.

OPEN SECTION

The proposals invited in this section are aimed to include as many participant artists as possible, across the practices, regions and nations. The performance proposals, selected for this section may run parallel to the curated section.

STUDENTS’ SECTION

Keeping the growth of performance art practice within the art schools and increasing interest of the student-artists, this section welcomes the students to perform, participate and interact with artists in order to enrich themselves to build up an understanding of performance art at present.
