Open call for illustrators

Deadline: 18th October 2019

Tapirulan’s illustration competition is celebrating its first 15 years, so it is no longer a normal competition, but we can consider it, rather proudly, a super competition, open to all superillustrators.

Any medium and technique is allowed.
Each artwork must be square-shaped, not smaller than 25×25 centimetres and not bigger than 40×40 centimetres.
If the artwork is applied on a panel or frame, it must not exceed 3 mm in thickness.

Each artist  may submit only one illustration.

Entry fee
The entry fee is €15.

Prizes
• First prize awarded by the jury: € 2,500
• Prize awarded by the registered subscribers of tapirulan.it: € 500

A jury will select 48 works to be published in the catalogue and to be displayed in the exhibition. Among the 48 works selected, 12 will also be published on the calendar.
