Contemporary Art Room Gallery is proud to announce their 1st “Skies” Online Art Competition for the month of December 2019. This is an international competition and artists from around the world are welcome to submit their work. All entries must include the sky as the primary focus. In that representation the gallery seeks artworks with any perspective of the sky, including clouds, night and day sky, dusk and dawn, storms, stars, moon and planets. All visual art mediums are acceptable (painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, digital, prints, fiber art, collage or installation art) except sound and video art.

All winning artists will receive a digital award certificate. First, second and third place will be largely displayed with an article about the artist and their work. Winning artwork (First place) will be on the poster of the show. Depending on the number and quality of all submissions received, Merit awards and Honorable Mention awards may also be presented.

International Art Competition “Botanicals”

Contemporary Art Room Gallery is proud to announce their 1st “Botanicals” Online Art Competition for the month of December 2019. This is an international competition and artists from around the world are welcome to submit their work. The Botanicals theme may include any work with interpretation of botanical and floral art (flowers, herbs, fruit, leaves, plants and related floral subcjects).

This is an international competition and it is open to all artists of 18 years of age or older. All visual art mediums are acceptable (painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, digital, prints, fiber art, collage or installarion art) except video and sound art.

All winning artists will receive a digital award certificate. First, second and third place will be largely displayed with an article about the artist and their work. There is no limit to the number of images that an artist can submit.

This exhibition celebrates the evolving field of contemporary craft and the innovation of artists who push the boundaries of their chosen media. Recognized as one of the premier craft exhibitions in the United States, this year we are thrilled to be partnering with the National Endowment for the Arts to expand this national exhibition to now include international artists.
Works produced in any of the craft media: clay, fiber, glass, metal, paper, wood, or any combination of craft media, are acceptable.
